New reward offered in search for missing Loranger woman

The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office has offered an additional $1,000 reward for information related to the disappearance four years ago of Dena “Sherry” Thomas-Fout.

Thomas-Fout, 42, has been missing from her Loranger home since Aug. 2, 2009. Foul play is suspected, a sheriff’s spokesman said.

Thomas-Fout is described as weighing about 120 pounds with shoulder-length brown hair and brown eyes and standing 5 feet 2 inches tall.

Thomas-Fout was last seen wearing a maroon or red shirt, jeans and tan sandals.

Crime Stoppers also has offered a $1,000 reward for information about her whereabouts.
