Advocate staff report Sept. 07, 2013 Comments Details remained sparse late Friday in the investigation surrounding the shooting death of a man whose body was found early Friday in a wooded area near BREC’s Spanish Town Park. Dwayne Foster, 130 S. 11th St., Baton Rouge, was found dead on his 48th birthday in the 1400 block of Gayosa Street shortly after 7 a.m. Friday, said Cpl. L’Jean McKneely, a police spokesman. An autopsy conducted by the East Baton Rouge Parish Coroner’s Office determined that Foster died after suffering at least one gunshot wound. But McKneely said police have identified neither a motive nor any suspects in Foster’s death, McKneely said.
