Authorities book 13 on suspicion of DWI

Authorities arrested at least 13 people suspected of driving while intoxicated and booked them into Parish Prison between 2:30 p.m. Saturday and 2:30 p.m. Sunday, booking records show.

Those booked and the counts against them:

Chase Bass, 23, 83215 La. 437, Covington, second-offense DWI, stopping vehicle in roadway, failure to signal while making a turn.

Anitra Byrd, 25, 4922 Bradley St., Baton Rouge, first-offense DWI and resisting a police officer with force or violence.

Dustin Duplessis, 30, 2414 Bunker Hill Drive, Baton Rouge, first-offense DWI, reckless operation and unnecessary noise from vehicle.

Jamie Kersey, 36, 11270 N. Abbey Lane, Denham Springs, first offense DWI, driver’s license suspended or revoked, and headlights required.

Mannix Lane, 42, 12624 Brogdon Lane, Baton Rouge, first-offense DWI, driver’s license suspended or revoked, and failure to signal/improper turn.

Tonya Lathers, 40, 2245 Cunard St., Baton Rouge, first-offense DWI, hit-and-run, insurance required, driver’s license suspended or revoked, possession of marijuana and reckless operation.

Kenneth Mayeaux, 43, 10555 Barringer Foreman Road, Baton Rouge, first-offense DWI and failure to maintain control.

Jarmen McChristian, 26, 11333 Copperwood Drive, Denham Springs, second-offense DWI, reckless operation and passing on the left.

Juan Gomez Mendez, 34, 12533 Coursey Blvd., Baton Rouge, first-offense DWI, driver’s license required and improper lane usage.

Alonzo Redmond, 27, 1073 Baranco St., Baton Rouge, first-offense DWI, driver’s license suspended or revoked, reckless operation and obstruction of a highway.

Mahogane Reed, 22, 900 Dean Lee Road, Baton Rouge, first-offense DWI, drinking in public, and careless operation.

Herman Ross, 46, 1190 Blount Road, Baton Rouge, first-offense DWI and failure to signal/improper turn.

Tracey Williams, 36, 7907 Whitley Drive, Watson, first-offense DWI, hit-and-run, drinking in public and reckless operation.
