Police and fire briefs for August 18, 2013

Authorities arrested at least 15 people suspected of driving while intoxicated in East Baton Rouge Parish and booked them into Parish Prison between 2:30 p.m. Friday and 2:30 p.m. Saturday, booking records show.

Michael Alu, 28, 1305 Madrid Ave., St. Gabriel, first-offense DWI, failure to signal while turning and possession of an alcoholic beverage in a vehicle.

Matthew Bonnecarre, 21, 425 Oakpoint Drive, LaPlace, first-offense DWI and reckless operation.

Gerard Bourgeois, 21, 855 Walker St., New Orleans, first-offense DWI and reckless operation.

Lorne Bulpitt, 49, 4554 Alvin Dark Drive, Baton Rouge, first-offense DWI and reckless operation.

Louis Carral, 28, 1237 Fig St., Baton Rouge, first-offense DWI and reckless operation.

John Cook, 22, 313 E. Beverly Drive, Lafayette, first-offense DWI and reckless operation.

Lauryn Gilardi, 21, 12 Shenandoah St., Kenner, first-offense DWI, reckless operation and failure to signal while turning.

Timothy Griffin, 29, 443 Misty Creek Drive, Baton Rouge, first-offense DWI and reckless operation.

Aaron Harrell, 33, 10600 Lake Blvd., first-offense DWI, improper lane usage and driver’s license suspended or revoked.

Robert Ketner, 32, 320 Jennifer Jean Drive, Baton Rouge, first-offense DWI.

Epsy McCain, 4541 Kilkenny Drive, Baton Rouge, second-offense DWI, possession of marijuana, reckless operation and possession of a firearm with drugs.

Patrick Murchison, 21, 3920 W. Lakeshore Drive, first-offense DWI.

Noelle Stelly, 35, 17846 Gray Moss Ave., Baton Rouge, first-offense DWI, reckless operation and hit and run.

Taylor Wilson, 22, 10203 Tanwood Ave., Baton Rouge, first-offense DWI and disobeying a red light.

Gina Yantes, 42, 7955 Jefferson Place, first-offense DWI, reckless operation, driving left of center, battery of a police officer and resisting an officer.
