LaPlace woman sought in pregnant woman shooting LaPlace woman sought in pregnant woman shooting Advocate staff report Aug. 21, 2013 Comments GONZALES — Authorities in Ascension Parish on Friday were seeking a LaPlace woman wanted as an accessory to the shooting this week that injured a woman who was eight months pregnant. Tiffany Victor, 27, 215 Medine Court, faces prosecution on counts of accessory after the fact to attempted first-degree feticide and accessory after the fact to attempted second-degree murder, Maj. Kevin Hanna said. The counts stem from the Wednesday shooting of 25-year-old Kenyia Houston, of Gonzales, who was rushed to the hospital and had an emergency delivery. Cowan Collins, 27, 13444 Old Baton Rouge Highway, Hammond, believed to be the father of Houston’s child, was arrested in St. James Parish on a fugitive warrant in the shooting, authorities said. He has been booked on counts of attempted second-degree murder of Houston, attempted first-degree feticide and illegal use of weapons. Authorities have said Collins used a revolver to shoot Houston twice — once in the arm and once in the chest — at 4:20 a.m. outside her residence. Houston and her baby were listed in stable condition, authorities said Friday. Deputies did not release additional details of Victor’s alleged role, but asked anyone with information about her whereabouts to call the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office at (225) 621-4636 or Crime Stoppers at (225) 344-7867.
