River Parishes bureau July 17, 2013 Comments PRAIRIEVILLE — Ascension Parish authorities searched on Tuesday for a woman accused of illegally withdrawing money from a woman’s bank account. The fugitive has been seen on surveillance video at Regions Bank in Prairieville using the victim’s identification while withdrawing approximately $7,400 from the bank account, according to a news release from the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office. The victim’s wallet was stolen in April from a shopping cart in Hattiesburg, Miss. Anyone with information about the identity or whereabouts of the woman wanted in the alleged bank fraud is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at (225) 344-7867 or the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office at (225) 621-4636.
