D'Andre Sinegal, 17, was booked Tuesday into the Vermilion Parish Correction Center on two counts of first-degree murder, Abbeville police said in a news release. The victims, both men, were discovered shot to death Tuesday morning at a home on Alphonse Street, police said. Abbeville police declined to identify the victims. Police Chief Tony Hardy said police were called at 8 a.m. about the deaths. Police questioned witnesses "who knew and observed the suspect who shot the two men," and started to look for Sinegal, the release says. City police, with help from State Police and the Vermilion Parish Sheriff's Office, located Sinegal at a Pine Street address, the release says. Abbeville detectives are continuing the investigation.
