Sheriff’s deputies are searching for two masked men armed with guns who robbed a bank located inside the Albertson’s grocery store at 9990 Bluebonnet Blvd. shortly before 7 p.m. on Friday, according to a spokeswoman for the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office.

According to reports, two black males, one wearing a dark colored hunting mask and the other with a dark colored bandanna over his face, approached a bank teller at Chase Bank branch inside the grocery story, said Casey Rayborn Hicks, the spokeswoman.

The teller passed the pair an undisclosed amount of money and the robbers then fled on foot behind the store, Hicks said in a news release.
