Florida seeks help in search for missing girl

Louisiana State Police said the Florida Department of Law Enforcement has asked for its help in looking for a missing Florida girl who could travel through Louisiana.

Megan Williams, 12, was last seen around 10:45 p.m. Saturday in Margate, Fla., in Broward County, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and jeans, a State Police news release says.

Williams is likely traveling with a man, whom authorities have not yet identified, in a silver Chevrolet Malibu with unknown license plates, the release says.

Williams is described as a white female with brown eyes and 5 feet 1 inch tall, the release says.

Anyone who may have seen Williams is asked to contact 911 or a local law enforcement agency.
