ST. AMANT — State Police and Ascension Parish sheriff’s detectives arrested a St. Amant man on child pornography counts, troopers said Friday.

Detectives searched the home of Brandon Mayers, 29, on Wednesday and found several images “indicative of child pornography” on his computer, troopers said in a news release.

Mayers was booked into Ascension Parish Prison in Donaldsonville on Wednesday and released on bail Thursday, online records show.

It means that they needed a high profile headline arrest so they claim that images are "child porn" and Mr. Mayors will now be responsible to prove they are not. Even if he can, his name will still be ruined but that won't matter because it's all about the headline.
