Two injured in Plank Road head-on collision

ZACHARY — Police are investigating a head-on collision around 8 p.m. Wednesday night on Plank Road just north of Lower Zachary Road, Police Chief David McDavid said.

Authorities had to extricate one person from a vehicle, but no fatalities have been reported, McDavid said.

The two drivers were taken to a hospital with serious injuries, McDavid said.
