Police: Four children molested in Gonzales

GONZALES — Detectives arrested a man accused of molesting four girls between 4 and 8 years of age at a Gonzales residence, the Police Department reported Thursday.

Detective Sgt. Steven Nethken said in a news release that Morris Buckner, 27, 3003 River Road, Baton Rouge, did not know anyone living at the Gonzales home, but went to the residence with a college student to meet members of a class study group.

The student was working for a private health-care company in Baton Rouge and part of his duties involved supervision of Buckner, the release says.

The children allegedly were molested in another part of the residence while the group studied, the release stated.

Buckner, arrested Wednesday, was being held at the Ascension Parish Jail on three counts of sexual battery and four counts of molestation of a juvenile.

Bond has not been set.

Castration doesn't always prevent future molesting. Scum such as this enjoy the overpowering of their victims. If they can't do it with a body part, they might use something else, such as a bottle, stick, etc. That said, castrate him anyway and lock him up forever.

From the report below, the age of the person does not appear to matter, only the vulnerability. He was probably molested himself.

Obviously the man is handicapped or he would not have a personal care aide supervising him. I think it is time to put him in a mental hospital and castrate him either chemically or physically. The comment from genefroux8 shows desperation to get something significant done for his handicapped friend. People in group homes try to take care of each other. It also tells me that the staff of the group home where he was living are untrained, not government employees, and not being paid enough to take their jobs seriously. This is what happens when you have privatization of human services. Of course Jindal does not care have as much as genefryoux8. Gene, report this to Adult Protective Services.

Bond should not be set. He should be kept in jail until the date of his trial and then sentenced to life in Angola, without possibility of parole, pardon or commutation of sentence.

hello to whom it may concern i know morris i was in the same group home as him (progressive health care providers) there was this client by the name of vandyke "troy" mcgill whom i was sharing a room with.....he told me about times when morris would come in our room while i was asleep and feel up on him touching him in inappropriate places troy was kinda mentally chalenged so he couldnt fight for himself i tried to tell the ppl that worked with us but they all made me out to be a liar i did what i could to try to stop it from happening and from what i hear PHP is trying to get him a lawyer to get the charges dropped and to get him put in the same group home?!?!?!?!?!? hes just gunna go in troys room at night and molest him again THIS CAN NOT HAPPEN! im no longer there to protect troy when no one else will Detective Sgt. Steven Nethken do what u can to make it impossible for the judge to cut this sick oath any slack

Oh they will love him in jail. I'm sure he will find out what being molested feels like, and I hope its long and agonizing for this piece of garbage.
