• The Advocate on Monday incorrectly reported that Southern University’s Marching Band dance team, the Dancing Dolls, had not performed at a Super Bowl prior to Super Bowl XLVI.

Sunday was the first time the Dancing Dolls performed at a Super Bowl without the band.

The Advocate regrets the error.
