Letter: Lacking interstate police presence is disturbing

Where are the police officers on our interstate highways?

I don’t know, but they sure are not out on the interstate at 6 a.m., when people are driving like they are on the German Autobahn. I drive in the righthand lane at 70 to 75 mph and cars are passing me like I am standing still and tailgating each other like freight trains. No wonder our insurance is what it is here in Louisiana. Why not just take the signs down if the speed limit isn’t going to be enforced, or enforce the law? It’s simple.
