Letter: BR-to-N.O. train service not good idea

A train from Baton Rouge to New Orleans? You have got to be crazy. Do you think New Orleans will come here?

The train stopped after World War II for lack of riders. We have several buses that go to New Orleans every day.

A few years ago, some people started a van service to New Orleans to help businessmen — $25 one way, with Wi-Fi and desks to work on. What happened? It died. And now, millions of dollars to die again. You’re gonna lose your shirts.
