Letter: Landrieu’s Obamacare TV ad an insult to Louisiana citizens

Mary Landrieu has insulted all Louisiana citizens.

She thinks we are too ignorant to know that her TV ad, purporting to have filed a bill to “fix” Obamacare, is a disgustingly mendacious political fraud. She knows that the Senate Democrats and President Barack Obama have already said that they would not permit any Obamacare remedial legislation. Mr. Obama has said, on a live TV interview, that he would veto any bill attempting to amend Obamacare.

Landrieu’s hypocrisy is disgusting.

Why didn’t she make the Democrats amend the original bill to guarantee that Americans could keep their doctors and health insurance policies when the legislation was being rammed down our throats? Perhaps she didn’t even read the bill.

This is, of course, a rhetorical question because she knows that elected liberal Democrats see Obamacare as another way to force productive Americans to funnel their hard-earned money through the federal government to be redistributed to nonproductive potential voters (both American and illegal aliens), thus perpetuating the greatest vote-buying scheme of all times.

If Landrieu can get Mr. Obama to make a TV spot saying he will support her bill, I will apologize at her election-night concession speech.
