Letter: More government follows policy failures

Let me get this straight. Team Obama built and passed an ill-conceived, ill-crafted, unduly complex health care law in 2009 and 2010, and then couldn’t figure out over the next three years how to construct a website on which the success of the law depends. But now we are assured it can all be fixed. Got it.

The usual knee-jerk reaction to inept/inefficient government policy is more, parenthetically “better” government. Surely Obama knows this. So if he is half as smart as everyone seems to think he is, the only palpable conclusion one can draw is that Obama intentionally set out to destroy the health insurance industry in order to put the government in its place.
