I’m writing with great disgust concerning two photos in section A of your Saturday, Oct. 5 issue. First, the front page shows a young North Guard PFC preparing a rig to be sent to one of the coastal parishes, equipped with a powerful Yamaha outboard motor. To add insult to injury, on Page 4A, the photo sports a Honda motor on this rig.
Wouldn’t our American workers in the Kenosha and Racine, Wis., areas enjoy this kind of revenue from the manufacturing of Johnson Sea Horse, and even our motors? It might help with some of their mortgage payments on American-built homes!
Be American. Buy and sell American.
