Letter: Law is innocent until proven guilty

The finding of “not guilty” by the jury in the Zimmerman trial in Florida is being assailed by Al Sharpton and the left as “not innocent either.” Only Scottish law has a potential “not proven” third option for the jury.

The United States of America does not. Our basis is, and always has been, innocent until proven guilty beyond reasonable doubt.

The Martin family deserves our sympathy. The left wing media does not.
