With this current staff, it is "feast or famine." I guess we are hungry now, so look out!! That Tulane Coach must be saying, "Huh! I get paid peanuts and those LSU coaches get top dollar, both Van Chancellor and this current HC! What do I have to do to get that kind of money, after all I beat them for THREE STRAIGHT YEARS....on our court and on their court TWICE!" We hear the predictable: YAK YAK YAK WOULDA COULDA SHOULDA....players failed to do this or that.....ad infinitum!! Van Chancellor was making about 400,000 dollars LESS than this new edition, but did better for less. I bet there are 3 or 4 high school coaches who would do this job WITH GREAT PASSION AND NOT FOCUSED ON PHOTO OPS....for about 100,000 dollars or maybe a little more. LSU went to Washington DC, lost to puny Hampton, THE LOWEST RATED TEAM THAT LSU WBB LOST TO IN A DECADE AND ONE HALF....lost to George Washington....won 3 games....AND THEY ARE BACK ON BREAK! Remember the deal when recruiters talk about the KID WHO TAKES OFF PLAYS? That's what we have here....but its the HC who is STOP AND GO!! Don't look for this magnamous-with-our-money AD to change or push any buttons. IT SHOULD BE SAID....SEVERAL OF OUR PLAYERS ARE PLAYING THEIR HEARTS OUT, in my opinion, with little or no help from the schemes and coaching!!! LSU WBB should be in a better position today! It is not and when the SEC comes around, they will be playing with a small deck....thanks to this staff's feeble recruiting.
