Va. firm wins $96 million contract to overhaul Navy’s personnel systems in New Orleans

Most of the work will be done in New Orleans on a $96 million contract awarded to SRA International Inc. to develop and modernize personnel and pay systems for the U.S. Navy Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command, Sea Warrior Program.

The Fairfax, Virginia-based IT firm expects to complete its tasks by June 2019.

Under the contract, SRA will upgrade and modernize the existing Navy Standard Integrated Personnel System while integrating existing systems in support of the enterprise Navy Integrated Pay and Personnel System. The work is designed to reduce the complexity and the overall cost of systems supporting Navy personnel and pay.
