Repairs to cause low water pressure this weekend in parts of Gentilly, eastern N.O.

NEW ORLEANS — Residents and businesses in Gentilly and eastern New Orleans will experience low water pressure this weekend as the Sewerage & Water Board repairs a series of water line valves.

On Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., homes and businesses in the 4400-5100 blocks of Franklin Avenue will experience low water pressure while repairs are made to valves on a water line that serves the area.

On Sunday between 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., homes and businesses in the 7000-8000 blocks of Chef Menteur Highway, between Chantilly Drive and Dotd Avenue, will experience low water pressure while crews repair water valves that serve that area.
