Two men shot dead on I-10 early Saturday

Two men were fatally shot early Saturday morning on Interstate 10 in New Orleans East, according to Officer Frank Robertson, a spokesman for the Police Department.

Robertson said the incident happened about 3:30 a.m. on the eastbound side of the interstate near the Crowder Boulevard exit.

The men were found dead inside a tan or gold Toyota Corolla in the left service lane, according to Robertson.

N.O. man wanted for cyberstalking

New Orleans police are looking for a man they say has been emailing death threats to family members, according to a statement from the NOPD.

Police are searching for Emerick Bultman, 48, who they say is a known narcotics user and may be “mentally disturbed.” Officers obtained an arrest warrant for him for cyberstalking.

According to police, Bultman is known to possess a firearm and should be considered armed and dangerous.

His last known address was 4138 St. Peter St.

Argument in N.O. East ends in machete attack

An argument between two men Friday evening in New Orleans East ended with one of them being sliced with a machete, according to police.

The dispute broke out about 7 p.m. in the 7800 block of Venice Boulevard.

Police said Wesley Nelson, 52, cut the victim, who was 24.

No further information was available.
