Student wins honor from YoungArts

Annie Jefferson, a senior at Ben Franklin High School and a drama student at the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts, was chosen as a 2013 YoungArts Merit Award winner in theater.
As a YoungArts Merit Award recipient, Annie has placed at the top 5 percent of the applicant pool.
