Senior guard Olivia Grayson had 23 points Thursday, but Tulane lost a five-point halftime lead and fell 75-67 to Tulsa in the quarterfinals of the Conference USA tournament. Without a guaranteed spot in a postseason tournament, Tulane will have to wait until Monday to learn its fate. “We feel pretty confident that we’ll have another opportunity to play,” coach Lisa Stockton said. “I feel so bad for our seniors. ... I think that we go into next week and we take on whatever we’ve got. It’s been a great season, and we just need to make the most of it.” Tiffany Dale added 12 points and 12 rebounds for Tulane (22-8), which was ahead 37-32 at halftime. Tulane gave up 25 points off turnovers and allowed the Golden Hurricane to hit 45.3 percent of its field goals. The Green Wave was called for 21 fouls, and Tulsa took advantage by hitting 23 of 32 free throws, including 16 of 21 in the second half. Taleya Mayberry had 21 points to pace Tulsa (15-16). Grayson, a former Archbishop Chapelle standout, had four 3-pointers and led all players with five assists while pulling down seven rebounds.
