1. QUARTERBACKS IN THE SPOTLIGHT AGAIN

The Saints might only carry only two quarterbacks into the season regardless of who wins this job, but it’s also possible that they’ll carry both Ryan Griffin and Luke McCown if McCown wins the job. That means a roster spot will be taken away from another position.

2. THE RECEIVER BATTLE

It looked like Nick Toon was ahead of Robert Meachem and Joe Morgan on the depth chart last week. Toon played more snaps than either player, and Meachem was on the field late into the fourth quarter. Will that continue to hold true this week?

3. THE SAFETY BATTLE

Will CFL import Marcus Ball return to action after missing some time with an undisclosed injury? It looked like Ball was ahead of the undrafted Pierre Warren earlier in the preseason, but this race is close. Getting back on the field would help Ball close this out.
