Antique fall festival set in Denham Springs Antique fall festival set in Denham Springs Advocate staff report Oct. 05, 2013 Comments The Denham Springs Antique Village Fall Festival, a day of antiques, art, music and food, will be Oct. 5 in the Denham Springs Antique District. The event will feature arts and crafts, children’s activities, rides and games, entertainment, military exhibits, community and civic displays, the Pets on Parade and food. More than 150 local and regional artists and craftsmen will offer a wide range of items including jewelry, pottery, metal, woodwork, hand-stitched garments, paintings and photography, purses, hats, and collegiate-wear. Attractions include free carnival rides courtesy of the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office. The entertainment venues are within walking distance of Range Avenue. Visitors are welcome to bring chairs or use provided seating. The entertainment schedule is: Centerville Stage Noon to 1 p.m.: Soul Salvage Project (Christian music) 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. - Vintage (’50s and ’60s music) 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.: Ben Bell and The Stardust Boys (Western swing/rockabilly) 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.: Rosie and The Swingin’ Rivetes (1940s swing) Train Station Stage 11 a.m. to noon: Pets on Parade and Odyssey Academy of Dance Noon to 1:30 p.m.: Burnhouse (variety music) 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.: Floyd Brown (swamp pop/variety) The event is produced by the Denham Springs Antique Village Merchants Association.
