Sep 5, 2013 08:54 Ponchatoula to have first outdoor Art Stroll Ponchatoula to have first outdoor Art Stroll Advocate staff report Sept. 05, 2013 Comments The Ponchatoula Chamber of Commerce invites the art community of Louisiana to participate in its first outdoor Art Stroll on Oct. 5. The event, which is free, will be held with the annual Antique Appraisal Day. Artists of all media, including oil, acrylic, watercolor, pottery, photography, woodwork and more will show their art in downtown Ponchatoula. Exhibitor locations include Collinswood Park, the courtyard of Roussel’s Antiques, and the main street open grounds of Trail’s End and CJ’s Antiques. No vending permits are required. Artists are responsible for reporting and collecting the 5 percent sales tax collected to support Tangipahoa Parish public schools. The deadline for applications is Sept. 28. Tent spaces of 10x10 feet and smaller are available.
