The Livington Parish Library listed its top book titles for June. The books were the most-popular titles at the library.
The top five adult fiction books are “Fifty Shades of Grey,” by E.L. James; “The Racketeer,” by John Grisham; “Dead Ever After,” by Charlaine Harris; “Truth-Stained Lies,” by Terri Blackstock; and “Notorious Nineteen,” by Janet Evanovich.
The top five adult nonfiction titles are “Guinness World Records”; “Heaven Is For Real: A Little Boy’s Astounding Story of His Trip to Heaven and Back,” by Todd Burpo; “Killing Kennedy: The End of Camelot,” by Bill O’Reilly; “Happy, Happy, Happy: My Life and Legacy as the Duck Commander,” by Phil Robertson; and “Waiting to Be Heard: A Memoir,” by Amanda Knox.
The top five young adult fiction titles are “The Great Gatsby,” by F. Scott Fitzgerald; “Catching Fire,” by Suzanne Collins; “Mockingjay,” by Suzanne Collins; “Cross My Heart, Hope To Die,” by Sara Shepard; and “Ender’s Game,” by Orson Scott Card.
The top five juvenile fiction titles are “The Third Wheel,” by Jeff Kinney; “Diary of a Wimpy Kid,” by Jeff Kinney; “Dog Days” by Jeff Kinney; “Cabin Fever,” by Jeff Kinney; and “The Cat in the Hat,” by Dr. Seuss.
The top five DVD titles are “Game of Thrones,” Season One; “True Blood,” Season One; “Downton Abbey,” Season One; “Downton Abbey,” Season Three; and “Game of Thrones,” Season Two.
