THURSDAY

STORY TIME: 10 a.m., Ponchatoula Library Branch. The story time is for children 3 to 5 years old.

TEEN CLUB: 4 p.m., Ponchatoula Library Branch. Participants will design a beach ball.

AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION HEARTSAVER AED CPR CLASS: 5 p.m., North Oaks Diagnostic Center. The class incorporates demonstrations of the AHA’s lifesaving techniques for choking, rescue, breathing and CPR for adults, children and infants. The fee is $20. (985) 230-7777.

SATURDAY

ROCK ’N ROAR: 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., Southeastern Louisiana University. The annual campus-community festival will provide of day of fun and feature academics, camps and activities, such as face painting, rock climbing, jousting arena and football. MASTER GARDENERS: 10 a.m., Amite Branch Library. Participants can consult a master gardener about camellias. Free scions or cuttings will be available.

WII SATURDAY FOR ALL AGES: 1 p.m., Ponchatoula Library Branch. Patrons can play on the Nintendo Wii.

CROCHET/KNIT GROUP: 10 a.m., Amite Branch Library. Patrons can join fellow crafters to learn new stitches and share patterns.

TEEN CLUB: 5 p.m., Amite Library Branch. Decorating the teen space part deux. The club is open to teens 13 to 17 years old.

KNITTING CLUB: 5 p.m., Ponchatoula Library Branch.

GROUP LIVING WITH AFFECTIVE DISORDERS SUPPORT GROUP: 6 p.m., North Oaks Diagnostic Center. The support group is for those experiencing anxiety disorders, mental illness, post-traumatic, obsessive compulsive disorder and bipolar conditions. (985) 230-7777.
