Dillon Elementary in Kentwood, has already exceeded her Accelerated Reader Goal for the 2012-2013 school year, school officials said. Her goal was 25 AR points for the year, but she has earned 59.2 points, school officials said. Students are not allowed to receive points by reading books at any level they choose, school officials said. Ambria read books that were sixth-grade level or higher in order to earn her points, they said.

The team finished first out of 13 teams to remain undefeated in regular and tournament play this year, school officials said.
