Smith has been an important part of the staff for many years and has always been ready to help in whatever area she was needed, school officials said. She assisted the administration and staff in classrooms, in the cafeteria, in the office, with school programs and with duty. She assists with building self esteem and has exceeded administrators expectations when the teacher was out for an extended time, they said. She is pictured with Principal Cathy LeBlanc.

Principal Cathy LeBlanc talked about the school safety plan. The All Pro Dads program aims to get dads more visible at school, they said. Research has proven that campuses with high parental visibility have higher test scores, fewer discipline problems, and safer schools, they said.
