SATURDAY

SCIENCE SATURDAY: 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., The Livingston Laser Interferometer Gravitational-Wave Observatory will host Science Saturday. The topic will be Leaps and Bounds, organizers said. Every Science Saturday visitors will have the opportunity to tour the facility and talk to a LIGO scientist or science specialist. In addition, visitors can explore and interact with more than 40 LIGO Science Concept exhibits. The event is free. PARENTS NIGHT OUT: 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., Denham Springs High School, 1000 N. Range Ave. The Denham Springs High School’s JADD club will hold a “Parents’ Night Out” Valentine’s Day Fun Night. Children, 3 to 12 years old, will spend the evening playing games and making crafts while the parents get to enjoy a romantic night out. Cost is $15 per child and $10 for each additional child.
