  • American Heart Association Heartsaver AED CPR Class: 5 p.m., North Oaks Diagnostic Center, 15837 Paul Vega, MD Drive, Hammond. The class focuses on the American Heart Association's lifesaving techniques for choking, rescue breathing and CPR for adults, children and infants.   • Hammond Pageturners: 5:30 p.m., Hammond Library Branch. The theme is "Literary Party Celebration."
  • Ricky Nelson Remembered: 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., Columbia Theatre, 220 E. Thomas St., Southeastern Louisiana University campus, Hammond. The multi-media event will feature a performance of Ricky Nelson's hit songs, including "Hello Mary Lou," "Travelin' Man" and "Garden Party." Nelson's twin sons, Matthew and Gunnar, will perform the songs. It will also feature interviews from celebrities influenced by Ricky Nelson. This year marks the 27th anniversary of Nelson's passing.   • Amite Branch Teen Club: 5 p.m., Amite Library Branch. Members will play Young Adult Trivia.
