Dr. Marie C. Pittman, a family medicine physician, has joined North Oaks Primary Care Clinic in Livingston. New patient appointments, for children ages 2 and up and adults are available.
Pittman specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of common illnesses and the management of complex health concerns, as well as preventative services. Her approach to patient care is to always put the patient first.
“I am most passionate about making a connection with my patients and having them understand their condition,” Pittman said. “Understanding helps patients play a more active role in their health care decisions.”
Pittman earned her medical degree at the University of South Alabama College of Medicine in Mobile and completed an internship and residency in family medicine at the University of Tennessee in Jackson. She is an active member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
Pittman joins Dr. Felix L. Torres, internal medicine physician, at the North Oaks Primary Care Clinic in Livingston at Suite 200 of North Oaks-Livingston Parish Medical Complex, 17199 Spring Ranch Road.
