The concert featured the Young Writers Club and the Lagniappe Dulcimer Society, library officials said. The Young Writers Club did a spoof of “A Christmas Carol,” by Charles Dickens, written by the group. The show’s cast featured Caleb Pearson as Scrooge; Sydney Storey as Marley; Anina Burgess as the Ghost of Christmas Past; Zoe Burgess as the Ghost of Christmas Present; Taylor Whitehead as the Ghost of Christmas Future; and Hannah Blanton as psychiatrist Charlene Dickens. The Lagniappe Dulcimer Society followed with Christmas carols that often encouraged the audience to sing along, distributing noisemakers to the children in the audience so they could play along. Members of the ensemble also explained the origins of the dulcimer and how it came to be played in this area. The group featured Joyce Bedell, Debbie Holley, A.J. Kent, Royanne Kropog, Lisa Oivanki, Regina Payne, Jo Ryan, Grace Smith, Linda Smith, Ora Smith and Jane Wilson.
