Youth Candy Land

Youth of all ages will be the game pieces in a life-sized version of the Candy Land board game. Participants will work their way around the game board to get to the castle, interact with Candy Land characters and complete tasks for prizes. Holiday soap making

Children from 8 to 12 years old will have an opportunity to make holiday-shaped soap, bath fizzies and packaging to wrap it in. Grief support group

Legacy Hospice Walker holds support group meetings from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on the third Thursday of each month at the Denham Springs/Walker Library, 8101 U.S. 190, Denham Springs. Christmas pet adoption

The Livingston SPCA will hold a Christmas Pet Adoption Day from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Petsmart, 1653 Millerville Road, Baton Rouge.
