  • N PET ADOPTION: 6 P.m. to 8 P.m., The Swampy Paws Canine Rescue will hold a pet adoption event at Petco in Denham Springs. Another pet adoption event will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Sport n’ Center in Denham Springs, on Range Ave. near the Antique District.   • N SENIOR CHRISTMAS DANCE: 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m., Senior Center in Denham Springs, 949 Government Drive, next to City Hall. The Livingston Council on Aging will hold a Christmas dance for seniors who are 60 years old or older. No alcohol is allowed. The cost is $6 per person or $10 per couple.   • N LPCC CHRISTMAS CONCERT : 7 p.m., Live Oak United Methodist Church, 34890 La. 16, Watson. The 22nd annual Christmas Concert will feature three choirs: The Apprentice Choir (K-2nd grade), Chorus (3rd grade – high school), and Chorale, our only auditioned, touring choir (4th grade – high school).   • EASY BOW MAKING: 6 p.m., Watson Library Branch. Patrons can learn how to make professional-looking gift wrapping bows. Registration is required.
  • CHRISTMAS PARTY: 6 p.m., Denham Springs-Walker Library Branch. Teens are invited to make gingerbread houses and swap books at a Christmas party. Participants should bring wrapped children’s or young adult books to swap.
  • ‘12 ANGRY WOMEN’ OPENING PERFORMANCE: 6:30 p.m., North Live Oak Elementary School, 36605 Outback Road, Denham Springs. The Livingston Parish Talented Theatre Department presents “12 Angry Women.” Other performances of the play will be held on Friday and Saturday. Tickets are $8 for adults and $6 for students.
