Men’s health issues focus of series of seminars

A free “Men’s Health Blitz” seminar series will be presented by men for men in November at North Oaks-Livingston Parish Medical Complex, 17199 Spring Ranch Road, Livingston.
Seminars will be from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8 and Nov. 15.
The seminars will focus on men’s health concerns such as prostate cancer, testosterone loss, impotence and physical fitness.
A roster of local urologists and orthopedic surgeons will lead the talks.
Speakers and topics by date include:
- Thursday: Gear Up on Prostate Cancer Awareness, presented by urologists Dr. Stephen Graham and Dr. Brad Lake.
- Nov. 8: Stay in the Game as a Weekend Warrior, presented by orthopedic surgeons Dr. T. Scott Curry and Dr. Matthew Lafleur.
- Nov. 15: Health Highlights: Testosterone & Impotence (erectile dysfunction) issues, presented by urologists Dr. Jay Heintz and Dr. Robert Kidd.
