Albany High School will host its annual homecoming festivities Sept. 28-29.
The Albany High School Class of 1995 will be honored at a reception at 5:30 p.m. in the school’s gym.
At 7 p.m., the Albany Hornets will host the St. Helena Central Hawks for the homecoming football game and the crowning of the homecoming queen.
The homecoming dance starts at 8 p.m. at Twelve Oaks on Southeastern Louisiana University’s campus.
Free seminar
The Livingston Parish Chamber of Commerce, the Literacy and Technology Center and the Southeastern Louisiana University Small Business Development Center will host a free Social Media Marketing and Facebook Seminar at 9 p.m. Thursday at the Literacy and Technology Center, 9261 Florida Blvd., in Walker.

Crock Pot cooking
Instructor Nathalie Savoy, a nutrition agent with the LSU AgCenter, will teach participants how to use a slow cooker at 10 a.m. in the Livingston Branch Library, 13986 Florida Blvd. Registration is required by calling (225) 686-2436.
DSHS Class of ’82 reunion
The Denham Springs High School Class of 1982 will host a reunion Sept. 21-22. Tailgating will begin at 5 p.m. Friday at the DSHS football game in front of Hornsby gym.
At 7 a.m. Saturday, a run, walk and ride will begin on Yellow Jacket Drive, and a class picnic will follow from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 865 Hatchell Lane.

Health fair
Walker will host a free health fair from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday in Sidney Hutchinson Park, 13750 Ball Park Road. Admission and all activities are free, organizers said.
Those participating will receive free dental, chiropractic or general health screenings, learn facts about Medicare, get free massages and have an opportunity to donate blood. The fair starts with a one-mile walk/run through the park at 8:30 a.m.
Registration is at 8:15 a.m. Free T-shirts will be available while they last, and a free Zumba class will be offered at 9 a.m. followed by a free yoga class at 10:30 a.m.
Princess tea party
The Denham Springs Pilot Club will host a Princess Tea Party from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday at Denham Springs First Baptist Church, 308 N. River Road. Tickets are $20 for one child and one adult.
