Tangipahoa investigating 76 car burglaries

HAMMOND — Detectives are questioning one man and seeking two others in 76 car burglaries, the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office reported Tuesday.

No property has been recovered and detectives are still looking for information leading to the identity of two other people caught on surveillance video, according to a Sheriff’s Office news release.

Most of the burglaries involved unlocked vehicles, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
