--AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION HEARTSAVER AED CPR CLASS: 5 p.m., North Oaks Diagnostic Center. This class incorporates demonstrations of the American Heart Association's lifesaving techniques for choking, rescue breathing and CPR for adults, children and infants. Participants are introduced to and participate in the use of an Automated External Defibrillator. Participants must successfully complete manikin check off and AED simulation in order to successfully complete this certification. The cost of the class is $20 per person. Call (985) 230-7777.
