Knitting day needlework

Members of the Radical Purls knitting group hosted area knitters in the worldwide ‘Knit in Public Day.’ ‘This is just one group that is part of a huge cooperative effort to encourage those who do needlework to join others with similar interests,’ Ponchatoula knitting leader Leigh Beaumont said. ‘Needlework is such a solitary craft that this is a great way to meet others and share ideas.’
