Farmers’ Market held Saturday mornings

The Livingston Parish Farmers’ Market from 7 a.m. to noon on Saturdays.

The market carries fresh, seasonal produce and fruit; grain-fed beef without added hormones; fresh and smoked pork; unprocessed honey; fresh yard eggs; homemade hot sauce; pastries; and kettle corn.

Craft vendors also sell soy candles, goat milk, honey lotions, soaps, quilts, jewelry, clothes and plants.

New Covenant Baptist Church provides market visitors with coffee and water. The market is located in the New Covenant Baptist Church parking lot on Florida Blvd., across from McDonald’s in Denham Springs
