Medical center offers parking lot shuttles

North Oaks Medical Center in Hammond will offer a parking lot courtesy shuttle transportation service for patients, visitors and staff as construction continues for expansion of the hospital.

The complimentary shuttle will run approximately every 8 minutes from 5:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. on weekdays.

Stops will include the parking garage, parking lots and entrances to the North Oaks Clinic Building, Diagnostic Center, Emergency Room, Office Plaza, Signature Building and Women’s Pavilion.

In other construction-related changes, the north entrance to the office plaza, 15770 Paul Vega, MD Drive, will close until further notice. Patients, visitors and staff can access the building at the south entrance on the hospital side. Additionally, a portion of parking lot “L” (north of the office plaza) will close until further notice.
