Nicholson townhomes sold for $702,000 Nicholson townhomes sold for $702,000 BY TIMOTHY BOONE| firstname.lastname@example.org May 27, 2014 Comments A portfolio of 20 townhomes along Nicholson Drive, between LSU and downtown Baton Rouge, has been sold for $702,000. West Chimes Place LLC sold the properties between West Grant and West Garfield streets in a deal that was filed Tuesday with the East Baton Rouge Parish Clerk of Court’s office. The buyer was AHK LLC, of Baton Rouge. David Trusty, an agent/broker at Gully Phelps & McKey who represented the sellers, said the new owners purchased the land as an investment. The townhomes are fully occupied, but the plan is to make some renovations to upgrade the quality of the properties. Recent activity along Nicholson, like the new Water Campus and The River District mixed-use development, has led to “a good lift in rents,” Trusty said.
