Harvey Gulf acquires Abdon Callais assets Harvey Gulf acquires Abdon Callais assets Advocate business staff report Sept. 21, 2013 Comments NEW ORLEANS — Harvey Gulf International Marine LLC is acquiring substantially all of Abdon Callais Offshore LLC’s assets and business. The purchase includes 48 offshore supply vessels, of which four are currently under construction. ACO, a marine transportation company serving oil and gas exploration and production companies, has one of the youngest and largest fleets operating in the Gulf of Mexico. It focuses on providing a variety of cargo and personnel transportation services to shallow-water and deepwater locations. The acquisition expands Harvey Gulf’s vessel classes and allows Harvey Gulf to broaden its service offering to customers in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico. The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter.
