David Couvillon has been named by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana as director of the company’s internal office of group benefits, a department in Blue Cross’ benefits administration division. He will oversee the administration of benefits for the state group’s PPO, HMO and consumer-driven health plan benefit plans. He was an operations manager for Louisiana customer service and document imaging with Xerox Services in Baton Rouge.

Taya Parish has been promoted to operations coordinator for Acadian Ambulance’s capital operations. She has previously served as a CCT paramedic, PFS, Air Med alternate and an operations supervisor.

Loretta Larsen, executive director of the Louisiana State Bar Association, has been installed as a state bar delegate on the National Association of Bar Executives board of directors for a two-year term.

The New Orleans Public Education Network has named Zakenya Perry as director of programs and Julia Ramsey as communications coordinator.

Perry was community outreach coordinator for the Make It Right Foundation. Ramsey was co-founder and editor at Interrobang?! Magazine.

Brian Mora, of Pedelahore & Co., has been elected president of the CFA Society of Louisiana.
