ExxonMobil Chemical has named J. Charles Dabadie III as manager of its Baton Rouge Plastics Plant, which has about 230 employees.

Dabadie replaces Nick Clausi, who was recently named manager of global synergy engineering with the ExxonMobil Research and Engineering Co. in Baytown, Texas.

Dabadie was the security, safety, health and environmental manager for the ExxonMobil Baton Rouge Complex, including both the chemical plant and refinery.

Frederick Tombar III has been named executive director of the Louisiana Housing Corp. by its board of directors.

Tombar, a New Orleans native, served as senior adviser to U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Secretary Shaun Donovan. Before that, he was president of Tombar Consulting Group, a management consulting firm. He is a national expert in housing and community development policy. LHC’s mission is providing affordable housing for rental and ownership.

The board also re-elected Michael Airhart , of Baton Rouge, as chairman and Mayson Foster , of Hammond, as vice chairman.
