Construction set for July on OSHA training center Construction set for July on OSHA training center Advocate business staff report July 02, 2013 Comments Construction on the Alliance Safety Council and LSU College of Engineering consortium’s Ascension Parish training facility will begin in July. In November, the council and LSU announced their collaboration had been chosen by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration as one of four new Training Institute Education Centers nationwide. The center will offer training courses on OSHA standards and occupational safety and health issues. The 11,000-square-foot facility will be located in the Edenborne development, off the Interstate 10-La. 44 intersection. Construction is expected to be complete by mid-2014. The Alliance has locations at Rieger Road, Gonzales and Addis.
